NameNetwork Ltd, the makers of the Mac Pak are now working on a new project, 20MacApps. In this deal you get 20 Mac Applications, thats right, 20 for $40. “Mac application bundles come in many varieties, but the 20MacApps promotion is truly something new,” explains NameNetwork CEO Mark Howson, “With 20MacApps, all of the applications are brand new, good value for money and of a really amazing quality when bought alone from us at $20 each, but $40 for all 20 applications is an unbelievable offer.”
Most would assume that if they are selling 20 Brand New Mac Applications for $40, that they would be small applications, with limited functionality, “Some of these applications are from the ‘big guys’ that we’ve all heard of,” he continued, “but we’re also really focused on giving new developers a way to cost effectively promote their products. All the applications will be exclusively published by 20MacApps, and sold by 20MacApps, TheMacPak, and also by some of the deals sites we all know and love.”
They have published a list of the types of applications included in the bundle;
4x Amazing Games
1x Great Video App
1x Intuitive Finance App
2x Exciting Business Apps
2x Fantastic Audio Apps
1x Home and Learning Apps
2x Web Design Apps
1x Email and Chat App
1x Security App
1x Development Tool
1x Imaging and 3D App

Over the last couple weeks I have been having problems with the MacBook Pro. AppleCare has already attempted to fix the internal problems, but this time they are mostly external. Case separating, weird marks, weird noises. Being a blogger I figured, before you take it in, you get the publics opinion. I have made a short clip showing what is wrong, but basically the casing that holds in the keyboard and trackpad is separating from the body. I call this defective, if its not going to stay together, its defective. From normal use as well, the palm rests are getting black spots on them, seems like my Macs not looking to good.
For a computer worth over $3000, it has really not held up all to well. As I mentioned in another post, To Apple Care or Not To Apple Care; That is the Question, I have already had a lot replaced on this MacBook Pro, and it is now starting to fall apart. Take a look at the embedded video and let me know what you think.
So, what do you think? Should I email Steve? Call up AppleCare? Bring it to the store and ask (or demand) for a replacement? Or just suck it up?
When searching the apple website today, I found another iPhone slip up on the Canadian page. All loyal Canadian Apple Users have been desperately waiting and finding many leaks of the iPhone in Canada, so here is another shocking leak. It was found on http://www.apple.com/ca/retail/yorkdale/week/20071202.html

It is also at all the other Canadian Apple Stores, here, here, here and here.
A similar leak was found by Michael Yurechko at AppleTell.

PodNod is a Mac OS X application that makes updating podcasts easy. Any true follower of podcasts knows it is a pain to have to open iTunes and refresh their podcasts every time they want to listen to a new one or just see if they actually have any new ones. With PodNod that is a thing of the past. It sits in the background of the user’s computer and checks with iTunes at a set interval. If it finds new podcasts, it alerts the user and allows them to go straight to their podcasts library from the message box. Easy, hey? It gets better. If the user doesn’t want to wait for that update, he or she can do a manual update and get instant feedback from on how there podcast library is. Not only it is effortless, it is unobtrusive and keeps your desktop clutter free!
I have also gotten an exclusive for my readers, some exclusive screenshots of the current beta. Tell us how you like them!
